Water for elementary schools
In two rural elementary schools (El Riego and El Ventarrón), kids no longer have access to water – which means no possibility to wash hands, clean classrooms, let alone drink. With our support Alcance can put up new water tanks.

School books and work sheets for the learning centers
La Esperanza runs four learning centers in the poorest quarters of Granada. This video shows the impact these centers are having on kids’ chances to get a better education and have a better future. We want to help out the learning centers with school books and work sheets in Spanish and Math to help them support the kids even better.

Expanding a successful program: Microcredits for school supplies
This project was selected as the winner amongst the proposals of our partner organizations: By the beginning of the next Nicaraguan school year in February 2022, we want to provide at least 80 high school students from six communities with a microcredit for school supplies.

Project proposal: School supplies for high school students
School attendance is free in Nicaragua; nonetheless, purchasing school supplies is a huge obstacle for many poor families. Thanks to your donations, Alcance Nicaragua is starting a microcredit project for school supplies in six rural communities, which will benefit 60 high school students.
